Hello everyone! Today I’m sharing another Valentine’s Day pattern with you; A mini bee crochet pattern (can you tell I love cute crochet animals?)!
This pattern is super easy and it would make the perfect little Valentines gift. You could also try making this cute Valentine’s Day Sloth pattern as well.


Mini Bee Crochet Pattern
Mini Bee Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Yellow (or pink) worsted (4) weight yarn
- Black worsted (4) weight yarn
- White worsted (4) weight yarn
- 3.50 mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- 2 safety eyes
- Stuffing
Terms Needed: Sc = single crochet, Sc2tog = single crochet 2 together, ss = slip stitch, ch = chain, st = stitch, mc = magic circle,
Mini Bee Body:
Start with yellow yarn (you could also swap out all the yellow yarn in this pattern for pink to make the pink bee).
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss to first st. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 4: Change to black yarn. Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 5: Change to yellow yarn. Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 6: Change to black yarn. Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 7: Change to yellow yarn. Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Stuff bee and add 2 safety eyes to the yellow part of the opposite end.
Row 8: Ch 1. Sc2tog around. Ss. (6 sts)
Bind off and sew end closed (weave the yarn through each of the remaining stitches and pull to tighten).
Using a small amount of black yarn, add a mouth.
Mini Bee Wings (make 2):
Start with white yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Bind off. Sew the wings to the body. Weave in any remaining ends.
