Happy Wednesday! Today I am sharing a great Halloween themed crochet pattern with you, a Ghostbusters Crochet Pattern! This pattern is super adorable, and instantly recognizable too.

Ghostbusters Crochet Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Tan worsted (4) weight yarn
- Natural worsted (4) weight yarn
- Dark Brown worsted (4) weight yarn
- Black worsted (4) weight yarn
- Grey worsted (4) weight yarn
- Red felt
- Red thread
- Sewing needle
- 4.00 mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Stuffing
- 2 safety eyes
Terms Needed: Terms Needed: Sc = single crochet, Sc2tog = single crochet 2 together, ss = slip stitch, ch = chain, st = stitch, mc = magic circle, HDC = half double crochet, TC = treble crochet
Ghostbuster Legs and Body:
Start with black yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss to first st. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (6 sts)
Rows 3-4: Change to tan. Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (6 sts)
Bind off. Repeat rows 1-4 to create a 2nd piece. Do not bind off of second piece.
Row 5: Ch 1. Sc 3. Switch to the 2nd leg piece, and sc 6 around. Sc 3 on 1st piece. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 6: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc 2) repeat around. Ss. (16 sts)
Row 7: Change to grey yarn. Ch 1, sc around in front loops only. Ss. (16 sts)
Row 8: Change to tan yarn. Ch 1. Sc around in both loops. Ss. (16 sts)
Row 9: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc 6) repeat around. Ss. (14 sts)
Row 10: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (14 sts)
Row 11: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc 5) repeat around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 12: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 13: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc 4) repeat around. Ss. (10 sts)
Row 14: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (10 sts)
Stuff work.
Row 15: Ch 1. Sc2tog in each st around. Ss. (5 sts)
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Ghostbuster Arms (make 2):
Start with black yarn.
Row 1: Ch 1. Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. (6 sts)
Row 3: Change to tan yarn. Ch 1. Sc in each st around. (6 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. Sc2tog, sc around. Ss. (5 sts)
Row 5: Ch 1. Sc2tog, sc around. Ss. (4 sts)
Bind off, leaving a tail for sewing.
Ghostbuster Head:
Start with natural yarn.
Row 1: Ch 1. Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in each st around, sc) repeat around. Ss. (18 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in each st around, sc 2) repeat around. Ss. (24 sts)
Rows 5-7: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (24 sts)
Row 8: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc 2) repeat around. Ss. (18 sts)
Row 9: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc) repeat around. Ss. (12 sts)
Stuff work and add safety eyes.
Row 10: Ch 1. Sc2tog around. Ss. (6 sts)
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Ghostbuster Hair:
Start with dark brown yarn
Row 1: Ch 1. Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in each st around, sc) repeat around. Ss. (18 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in each st around, sc 2) repeat around. Ss. (24 sts)
Row 5: Ch 1. Sc 2, HDC, DC 2, TC 2, Ss in next 3 sts, ch 1, sc 14. Ss to first st of row. (24 sts)
Row 6: Ch 1, turn. Sc 16. (16 sts)
Row 7: Ch 1. Sc2tog, sc across, sc2tog in last 2 sts. (14 sts)
Row 8: Ch 1. Sc2tog, sc across, sc2tog in last 2 sts. (12 sts)
Row 9: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc 2) repeat across. (9 sts)
Row 10: Ch 1. (Sc2otg, sc) repeat across. (6 sts)
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Ghostbusters gun Part 1:
Start with black yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. Ss. (12 sts)
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Ghostbusters gun Part 2:
Start with black yarn.
Row 1: Sc 4 in mc. Ss. (4 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc around in front loops only. Ss. (4 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. Sc around. Ss. (4 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. Sc around. Ss. (4 sts)
For assembly: Sew arms to body. Sew hair to head, then sew head to body. Sew the 2 parts of the gun together, then sew the gun to the hand. Cut 2 small rectangles out of red felt, sew one to the arm and one to the front right chest.
