Happy Saturday! Today I am sharing a McDonald’s Burger and Fries Crochet Pattern with you. You can also use this pattern to make a regular burger and fries, or you could get creative and add your favourite fast food logo to the fries.
Without further ado, here is the pattern (and some pictures):



McDonald’s Burger and Fries Crochet Pattern
Materials Needed:
- Tan worsted (4) weight yarn
- Dark Brown worsted (4) weight yarn
- Yellow worsted (4) weight yarn
- Light Green worsted (4) weight yarn
- Red worsted (4) weight yarn
- 4.00 mm crochet hook
- Yarn needle
- Stuffing
Terms Needed: Sc = single crochet, Sc2tog = single crochet 2 together, ss = slip stitch, ch = chain, st = stitch, mc = magic circle
McDonald’s Fries Package:
Start with red yarn.
Row 1: Ch 7, turn. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each across. Once you reach the end, sc across in the other direction in the free loops of the row. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in st, sc 4, sc 2 in st, sc 2 in st, sc 4, sc 2 in st. Ss. (16 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. Sc around in front loops only. Ss. (16 sts)
Rows 4-6: Ch 1. Sc around in both loops. Ss. (16 sts)
Row 7: Ch 1. Sc 12.
Row 8: Ch 1, turn. Sc across. Bind off. Weave in ends.
McDonald’s Fries (make 6):
Start with yellow yarn.
Row 1: Sc 3 in mc. Ss. (3 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc around in front loops only. Ss. (3 sts)
Rows 3-8: Ch 1. Sc around in both loops. Ss. (3 sts)
Bind off, weave in ends.
For assembly: Use yellow yarn to add an “M” to the fry holder, if desired. Place fries in holder.
McDonald’s Hamburger top bun part 1:
Start with tan yarn.
Row 1: Sc 9 in mc. Ss. (9 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. Ss. (18 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc 2) repeat around. Ss. (24 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. Sc in each st around. Ss. (24 sts)
Bind off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
McDonald’s Hamburger top bun part 2:
Start with tan yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc) repeat around. (18 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc 2) repeat around. (24 sts)
Bind off. Sew 2 pieces together, and stuff. Weave in ends.
McDonald’s Burger bottom bun:
Start with tan yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc) repeat around. (18 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc 2) repeat around. (24 sts)
Row 5: Ch 1. Sc around in front loops only. Ss. (24 sts)
Row 6: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc 2 ) repeat around. Ss. (18 sts)
Row 7: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc) repeat around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 8: Ch 1. Sc2tog around. Ss. (6 sts)
Bind off, and weave in all ends.
McDonald’s Burger patty:
Start with dark brown yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc) repeat around. (18 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc 2) repeat around. (24 sts)
Row 5: Ch 1. Sc around in front loops only. Ss. (24 sts)
Row 6: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc 2 ) repeat around. Ss. (18 sts)
Row 7: Ch 1. (Sc2tog, sc) repeat around. Ss. (12 sts)
Row 8: Ch 1. Sc2tog around. Ss. (6 sts)
Bind off, and weave in all ends.
McDonald’s Burger tomato:
Start with red yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc) repeat around. (18 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. (Sc 2 in st, sc 2) repeat around. (24 sts)
Bind off, and weave in all ends.
McDonald’s Burger Cheese:
Start with yellow yarn.
Row 1: Ch 8, turn. Sc in 2nd ch from hook and each across. (7 sts)
Rows 2-7: Ch 1, turn. Sc in each st across. (7 sts)
Bind off, and weave in all ends.
McDonald’s Burger Lettuce:
Start with green yarn.
Row 1: Sc 6 in mc. Ss. (6 sts)
Row 2: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. (12 sts)
Row 3: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. (24 sts)
Row 4: Ch 1. Sc 2 in each st around. (48 sts)
Bind off, and weave in all ends.
For assembly: Stack the various pieces of the burger. You can sew them together, if you wish.
